Westmont invites first-generation college students and students who have had significant international experience—including F-1 students, missionaries and third culture students—to attend First Connections. First Connections is an invite-only event that takes place prior to the start of Warrior Welcome (orientation for all incoming students.) This is a terrific opportunity to move in early and get to know your peers and get acclimated to campus. We provide a parallel First Connections program for parents and guests.

There is no cost to attend First Connections for the student and up to 2 guests. However, there will be a non-refundable $25 fee for any additional guests.  

Immediately following First Connections, students will participate in 2026 Warrior Welcome, August 26-27, and parents and guests are invited to attend Parent Orientation, August 26-27. Parent Orientation requires a separate registration and fee.
