Friends and Supporters of Westmont Warriors Basketball,

As we look to build upon a successful 2025-26 basketball season, I’m excited about the start of our offseason. Our goals are ambitious as we look to take advantage of two unique opportunities that we believe will help propel us to the top of the Pacific West Conference.

First, we are returning more players than any other school in the NCAA West Region. In the current landscape of college basketball, this level of retention is incredibly rare; it speaks directly to the quality of the Westmont student-athlete experience and the commitment of these young men to one another.

Second, our team has been invited to participate in a prestigious summer basketball tournament in Taiwan: the BLIA Cup. The tournament features university-level teams from Australia, New Zealand, Japan, the Philippines, Malaysia, China, and beyond. The most exciting part of this invitation is the generosity of our hosts: Our sponsor is covering all costs for our travel party during our 10-day stay. This includes lodging, meals, transportation, and cultural activities. All we have to do is get there.

To fully capitalize on this momentum, we have set a fundraising goal of $50,000. These funds will directly support:

• ·     Airfare for our team’s summer mission and tournament in Taiwan
• A Nutrition Station to optimize player recovery and performance
  
• Performance analytics: Implementing cutting-edge technology for player development
  
• Additional team meals on road trips and winter break
  
• Team building and spiritual formation opportunities
• Recruiting: Ensuring we continue to bring in high-character, elite talent
