Westmont invites first-generation college students and students who have had significant international experience—including F-1 students, missionaries and third culture students—to attend First Connections. First Connections is an invite-only event that takes place prior to the start of Warrior Welcome (orientation for all incoming students.) This is a terrific opportunity to get to know your peers and get acclimated to campus. We provide a parallel First Connections program for parents and guests.

Students may bring up to two guests at no charge. Additional guests are welcome, however there will be a $25 per guest registration fee. 

Students attending First Connections should be sure to arrive on campus by 11 am on Tuesday, August 20. If you are not able to arrive by that time, please let us know your expected arrival time as soon as possible. Immediately following First Connections, students will participate in 2025 Warrior Welcome, August 27-28, and parents are invited to attend Parent Orientation, August 27-28. Parent Orientation requires a separate registration and fee.
